Its a guaranteed daze every 10 seconds. The whole reason is awe. Aside from that increased adrenaline gain allows for more hammer bashes. Its a gimmick not some amazing breakthrough in versatility.

If what is the case? They've only been somewhat effective as a pvp gimmick. You are not going to be putting out amazing DPS, if you run earthshaker you'd be far better off running a warrior primary.
Soldier's Fury or Focused anger fueling more hammer bashes puts more pressure upon a backline, the daze from awe can create panic and open windows. None of that is useful in PvE compared to just raw damage. I am not sure what you are looking for, the most amazing thing about paragons with hammer are the attack animations.

I tried it, if you want daze, running a RAO is still a better option, if you want a glorified hammer warrior, running a hammer warrior is still a better option. That and paragons are horrible skirmishers.

I'm going to disagree there. RAO relies upon Energizing Winds. Spirit support has to be slotted in your team and any semi-competent player knows to know energizing vs RAO. Also the daze on RAO is on a 20 recharge timer as opposed to the 10 recharge of Awe. Both are gimmicky, but there is a reason RAO's are never pugged anymore.

At least RAO's don't have to stop every time to re-apply SF, which HURTS pressure like mad, as for the rest, you're numbers are indeed pretty spot on. SF can be interrupted as well, which will leave a warrior with a skirt who will be called a homo and get laughed at .
